Our impact officers are your guide to our services. They are responsible for scouting ideas with potential and developing these into (startup) ventures with the plan, team and technical/(pre)clinical proof to attract serious investment. Anyone can contact the impact officers to turn their attention to a promising idea or venture. If the team sees sufficient potential, the impact officers can invest time and money into making the idea or venture “investor-ready”.
Patient-perspective
DCVA and RegMed XB are partnerships for patient-driven innovation. Everything starts from and strives for real-world, tangible impact for patients. We offer ventures access to our health foundation partners, their patient insights, expertise and funding.
Research

Ecosystem
You are not alone. Become part of our ecosystem and access all the facilities and expertise of our partners and in our network, from patenting and licensing to labs, GMP production, pre-clinical and clinical trial set-up, funding, and more.
Venture building support
Our impact officers will not just advise and guide you. They can be (temporary) members of your team, help find the right people to strengthen your team, your business and technology development plans and connect you to experts to define the necessary steps for your technical and clinical validation. We can take the lead to drive your idea forward to make it an investable venture. You make the final decisions.
Mentoring
You can enroll in our SpringboardTM mentoring programme, where experienced entrepreneurs will help to develop your concept and company. You will also have access to all education and other activities organized by DCVA, RegMed XB, Health Holland or any of our partners. Finally, we can mobilize tailored support from people with the exact expertise you need: from IP, regulatory and production support to voice-of-customer meetings and patient panels.
Funding
We can award vouchers of up to €25.000 to explore business feasibility or technical proof of concept. Find out if your project is eligible.
Through us, you may also apply for very early stage
(pre-seed) funding from FIRST, the EUR 9.5 million
fund established by DCVA and RegMed XB together
with the Dutch government.
Finally, we can help you secure co- and/or follow-on investments from public and private (pre-)seed funds, including those operated by our partners, and other venture capital (met logo)
